Requirement
To demolish a double-storey double brick house safely and hand back the site to the client to build a new house.

Solution
Due to the proximity to the neighbouring houses, the strip-out crew performed a manual demolition to bring the structure down to a sudden level before performing demolition work using an excavator to avoid any damage to the neighbours’ houses. The manual demolition works were performed upon receiving an asbestos clearance certificate issued by the independent asbestos assessor and a 14-tonne excavator was utilised for this project due to limited access.

Result
Home Demolitions successfully demolished the double-storey double brick house without causing any damage to the neighbouring properties. The client and the client’s builder were happy with the completed site.
